Following the recent announcement of a Two Episode Special to air in December, we continue to spread the word of our love for Timeless, now focusing on recruiting new viewers in hopes of securing a third season of the critically-acclaimed program. Following a successful stunt last month during San Diego Comic-Con, Clockblockers voted to fly our #SaveTimeless banner once more. Together we decided it would take flight over the Jersey Shore on Labor Day weekend. After rescheduling became necessary, Clockblockers voted to instead fly in California mid September.

Beachgoers were treated to the campaign’s banners in flight Saturday, September 15, from 1:30 - 4:30 PM PST. The banner passed by multiple landmarks en route, including the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, Manhattan Beach Pier, Angel’s Gate Park, Long Beach, Seal Beach, and Balboa Pier before turning back north at Newport Beach and heading inland to wrap up the three-hour flight.

We reused our banner from our SDCC flight (above). This time we also paid to have a second, smaller banner attached to the end of it specifically for this flight to inform onlookers that they can currently stream both seasons of the show online via Hulu.

 

Unfortunately, this second banner was mistakenly left in New Jersey after the rescheduled flight. Due to this, our September 15th LA Beaches flight flew with only our original banner. Since this was their mistake, we had spent the rest of September through to the end of November constantly planning a make-up flight, on AirAds own cost, to fly with both our original banner and an addition directing people to Hulu to watch Timeless. Due to a number of issues, each planned make-up flight was cancelled. With the Two Episode Special now drawing near, we are in talks with AirAds to come to another agreement, which will end STFC's contract with AirAds.
